Which the best “Blonde Hair On Olive Skin?”
Olive skin is often described as having a warm brown base with a yellowish tint. This shade is found across many ethnic groups, including African Americans, Hispanics, Asians, and Native Americans. While it’s easy to tell what color your skin is, determining whether you have olive skin underneath can be tricky. If you want to find out, we talked to three top colorists about how to identify your skin tone.
Ariel Hauck, owner of Color Me Beautiful Salon in New York City, says that while there are no hard and fast rules, she recommends testing yourself against the following guidelines.
Options include a daring choices like bright red, a brilliant platinum blonde, a rich caramel highlight on brown hair, and more.
1. All-over Platinum
Ariel Hauck says she loves working with olive skin tones because it makes her feel like she’s wearing a tan suit. She suggests starting off with a base of warm browns or tans, such as a bronze or golden ochre, and building up the color gradually. Then, add a touch of white to bring out highlights. If you want to go even further, try adding a little pink blush to the cheeks and lips. This will give the illusion of having a healthy glow without looking too orange.
2. Blonde Braids
Zoe Kravitz went blonde across her entire head before she added her braids. She told People magazine that she wanted to go blonde because it was “a little bit of rebellion.”
Kravitz, 31, revealed that she had been planning to dye her hair since she was about 15 years old. She said that she wanted to do something drastic like dyeing her hair black, red, blue or purple, but ultimately settled on blonde.
She told the publication that she had been growing out her hair for months prior to getting it dyed. She said that she didn’t want to wait too long because she wanted to make sure that the color stayed consistent throughout the process.

Make sure your natural hair and skin are sufficiently moisturized after such an intense lightenning treatment. If you don’t, you could end up with dry patches.
3. Rapunzel Silvery Blonde
Getty Images’ Rapunzel Silvery Blondes Collection features six shades ranging from silver to gold, including a few brassy tones. For those looking to avoid the yellowish tinge, consider using a purple-toning shampoo, conditioner, and/or both.
3 Blonde Hair On Olive Skin: All-over Soft Blonde
The softest hair color you can go with is blonde. But there are many different ways to achieve it. From lightening blondes to dark browns, here are five tips for making sure your blonde lasts longer.
3 Blonde Hair On Olive Skin: Variegated Honey with a Dark Root
Nicole Scherzinger’s blonde locks look like they could be straight out of a shampoo commercial. But it’s her hairstyle that makes her look even better. Her long strands are divided into three different colors — one lighter, one darker, and one somewhere in between — and each section is given a slightly different shade of honey. This gives her hair a unique texture and highlights the fact that she doesn’t want to go too crazy with product. She’s looking for something easy, and that’s exactly what we love about her style.
